As we continue in our "Preparing for Easter" series we look at what many wonder... where is Jesus today? If he is so loving how could we possibly see the evil present in the world today? Fact is, Jesus is here; as we sit around talking about him, he is waiting for us to recognize him.

Grand Prix 2009
Grand Prix 2009. This was the third year we partnered with Colonial Village Baptist to race in the annual Grand Prix. Again it proved to be an amazing time and provided great opportunity for people who are not fimiliar with church to participate and get to know the love of Christ by experiencing it in action. We had 18 cars registered to race through our church and we walked away with 9 metals! Congratulations to Freddy, Jin, Amber, and Randy who won awards for design, and to Michael and Dale who won awards for speed! Pictures of the winnings cars will be published in a continued post.
Enjoy the pictures and watch the video.

Day 5 - Lobby Remodel
Day 5 - Crunch Time. This is our last day to work on our project before Sunday. Tomorrow the cleaning crew is coming in and it must be ready for them. The desk frame was made, the countertop secured, clearcoat the oak sill, and get the final trim put on. Once that is done... start reloading the office space with furniture and supplies. Not to mention mount the welcome sign and have the pro's do the carpet.
Day 3 - Lobby Remodel
Day 3 - Sand the drywall and mud it again. Wait. Sorry, no fancy pictures here. See day 2; it looks the same.
